Today’s Lenten Prayer

Info2013

Thursday 28.03.2013 — We pray that God would use the many Christian programmes on TV and radio (e.g. Bibel TV, ERF, Anixe, et al) to stir the hearts of the viewers — to bring the lost to salvation and to help believers grow and thrive in their faith.

The disciple-life journey @ IBCB begins with this 1st of 4 DiscipleLife classes:  Love Membership.  In this class, we’ll explore what the Bible says about salvation and its symbols, then we’ll discuss what we believe and how we do life together as a church.

In the end, we will challenge every participant to make a few very specific commitments to our shared disciple-life in the fellowship of our church:

  • To Jesus Christ
  • To Baptism
  • To IBCB Relationships
  • To IBCB’s Mission and Strategy

If you have questions about faith, baptism, or IBCB … then this class is for you.  New to our church?  Been attending for a long time?  It doesn’t matter.  This class is for you!

Today’s Lenten Prayer

Info2013

“Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than men; knowing that from the Lord you will receive an inheritance. It is the Lord whom you serve.”  (Colossians 3:23-24)

Monday 25.03.2013  — We all work for somebody, and I’m not talking about our employers.  I’m talking about the Lord Jesus Christ.  We pray that God gives success to our work and that we work in the knowledge that “whatever we do we do for the glory of God.” (1 Corinthians 10:31)
