  • Register in advance for lunch and child care

“Grow in Maturity” is one of IBCB’s basic workshops designed to equip you to

live the disciple-life!  In this four-hour workshop you will be taught the practices — the “holy habits” — of being an authentic follower of Jesus Christ.  You will learn essential skills in four key areas: Scripture, Prayer, Finances, and

Fellowship.

Our goal this year is to have 75 people attend this workshop AND make a personal covenant commitment to practice these spiritual disciplines.  Since 1. January, 40+IBCBers have attended this workshop.  (If you’ve attended the workshop and have not yet made your covenant commitment, prayerfully consider do so as soon as possible.  We become our commitments!)
This workshop — along with the three others in this basic series — are at the core of our mission and vision of “multiplying and mobilizing disciple-making followers of Jesus Christ.”

Join us on the IBCB “Fellow-ship” journey of following Jesus together!

Friday, 07 June from 12:00-20:00 H

Under the motto “Living Together, Celebrating Together”, the Bezirksamt Steglitz-Zehlendorf will host the 2nd Intercultural Festival on Friday, June 7 from 12:00-20:00 h. This event which will be held during the Steglitzer Woche will take place on the Hermann-Ehlers-Platz, directly on the Bus & U9 Rathaus Steglitz terminal, directly across the Rathaus.

IBCB will participate together with other social & cultural organizations to present what they offer to the local community. This is a perfect opportunity to share the Gospel among the local community and invite them to our International Day. We will have our own info table where we will have simple quiz contests and prizes so that we can engage the visitors in conversation. You are all encouraged to help out at the info table dressed in your national costumes by indicating on the sign-up sheet the time slot you are willing to assist.

Our Gospel Choir will also be performing at 17:00 h on the centre stage.

This is the perfect opportunity for our all of you to “GO ON MISSIONS!” locally.

IBC Berlin Jelka Missions Project

missions

We have a great team of people assembled to go to Jelka, Slovakia in support of Oto Sipos–Indigenous Missionary Partner–and the Romany/Gypsy church plant just east of Bratislava during their “football tournament and family fun day” outreach event.

Here’s our missions team:  Calvin Tan, Chong Hiu Pun, Craig Huggins, Ben Huggins, Ulrike Stednitz, Katie Corwin, Ruth Beltran, Laurie Corwin, Scott Corwin, and IBC Berlin.

Yes, you as IBCB Church Family are also an important part of the team through prayer and partner support!

Here is how you can pray:

➡        Give the team spiritual, emotional, and physical strength.

➡        Grant the team courage to share the gospel and humility to serve the people.

➡        Provide opportunities to connect with non-believers while distributing invitations, supporting the football tournament, and sponsoring activities for the families.

➡        Encourage Oto Sipos – church planter – and the Romany Church Jelka through our testimonies and sermon during Sunday worship.

➡       Safety while traveling and deepening fellowship while together

Here’s how you can partner:  Make your donation and designate it “Jelka Missions” by electronic transfer (see details here) or by cash in an envelope (available from the ushers).
