Monday 11.03.2013 — We pray that politicians and economic decision-makers will recognize and work to eliminate gaps in the system (e.g. child poverty, financial inequality, unfettered greed, social and economic corruption) and courageously make the necessary changes.
Pray for today’s Youth Mission Project activities:
Furstenwalde Group — sharing and singing in the Furstenwalde Baptist Church; participating in Youth Day and in ProChrist Rally
Berlin Group — sharing in IBC, participating in Youth Day
Sunday 10.03.2013 — We pray that churches will be places in which people burdened with problems can find not only a safe space and a place to belong, but also the practical help, emotional support, and spiritual strength for healing and change.
Pray for the Youth Team from FBC McKinney as they arrive this afternoon. After a time of orientation, we’ll — IBCB teens and FBC teens — join the Crossway teens for tonight’s event. Finally, the jet-lagged FBC teens will arrive at their host homes. [A special word of “thanks” to those offering the hospitality of their homes to the youth team members.]
Friday 09.03.2013 — We pray that God will strengthen those who “practice hospitality.” May God increase the compassion of those who take in people in trouble — the homeless, the sick, the elderly, the orphans, the poor, the destitute, the forsaken — and bless them to be a blessing.
